ModaMiami, an exclusive car exhibit showcasing 150 of the rarest sports cars globally, including Porsches and Lamborghinis, kicks off its inaugural event on Thursday, February 29. The event, which lasts through Sunday, March 3, takes place at the Biltmore in Coral Gables. Not just a car show, it features a collection of classic vintage cars, luxury experiences, and a shopping experience featuring designer handbags, jewelry, and more all available on site throughout the weekend.
Two of Miami’s most popular dining experiences, Carbone and Casa Tua, are also making appearances. On the evening of Friday, March 1, beginning at 7 p.m., Mario Carbone – known for his associations with Major Food Group, Carbone, Dirty French Steakhouse, and ZZ’s Club – is hosting an exclusive dinner. This unique culinary experience will be set against a breathtaking backdrop of cars from the Collection Ferrari of Miami.
“The evening starts with a welcome reception and an array of passed canapés,” says Carbone. This will be followed by a family-style four-course dinner, beginning with their renowned bread service and progressing through antipasti, pastas, a main course, and concluding with dessert. The dishes will include the signature “Spicy Rigatoni Vodka,” “Mario’s Meatballs,” and “Dover Piccata,” and “Veal Parmesan,”. Dessert comprises a lemon cheesecake, a chocolate praline terrine, and rainbow cookies. This event will cost $1,000 per person.
In addition to Carbone’s dinner, Casa Tua is setting up a special club area at the Biltmore. Here, club goers can enjoy Italian-inspired snacks, an unlimited supply of drinks, and fantastic views of the car displays. The Casa Tua Club is open on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, with tickets costing $875 per day.
“ModaMiami stands out for its outstanding entertainment, fine dining options, and upscale luxury marketplace,” ModaMiami stated in a press release. “We envision ModaMiami as a grand celebration of both classic and modern collector cars. We continually strive to innovate and excite the next generation of car enthusiasts.”
ModaMiami also recommended the 100 Club – an unveiling of 99 curated cars with the 100th showcased in a special reveal – and a two-day RM Sotheby’s auction focusing on the intriguing ‘Youngtimer’ genre, modern-day supercars, and significant prewar classics.
ModaMiami will take place from Thursday, February 29, through Sunday, March 3, at the Biltmore, located at 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. Tickets for adult general admission start at $150. Tickets for the Carbone Gala Dinner cost $1,000, and a single-day pass to the Casa Tua Club is priced at $875.
