It seems that Nicki Nicole and Peso Pluma have parted ways.
This speculation was fuelled by the Argentinian rapper and singer who posted a strong statement on social media after deleting her own and the Mexican star’s photos from her Instagram account.
“Respect is a necessary part of love,” Nicole posted on her Instagram story on Tuesday (February 13). “What you love, you respect. What you respect, you take care of. When they don’t take care of you and there is no respect… I don’t stay there. I leave there. It pains me to let you know that I found out the same way you did, thank you for the love you are sending me”.

Her forthright words came a day after a video surfaced online of Peso Pluma holding hands with another woman in Las Vegas over the Super Bowl weekend. Nicole’s team declined to further comment beyond what the artist posted on her socials. Billboard reached out to Peso’s team for comments, but did not receive a response at the time of this publication.
In October, Nicole joined Peso Pluma on stage at the Billboard Latin Music Awards performing their 2023 collaboration, “Por las noches”. They made their red carpet debut as a couple a month later at the Latin Grammy in Spain, where they spoke with Billboard about a possible new collaboration.
“We’ve gotten together in the studio, truthfully, and we have great chemistry there as well,” Nicole said in a joint interview with Peso. “Mixing the personal with the musical, amazing things come out. We love each other so much personally, and we admire each other so much musically, there’s a unique chemistry in the studio. It feels like we get together to work more because we enjoy it rather than as an obligation to ‘no, we have to make a song’.”
More recently, the pair attended the 66th edition of the Grammy Awards on February 4th together, when Peso won the award for best Mexican music album (including Tejano) for Génesis. A few days later, they were also seen at a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
