The South Beach Wine & Food Festival is set to illuminate South Beach, the Miami cityscape, and Hallandale Beach from Thursday, February 22, to Sunday, February 25. The event schedule includes tasting demonstrations, master classes, brunches, exclusive dinners, and much more. However, this year, there is a significant shift in the festival’s perennial arrangements. For the very first time in its 23 years of successful execution, the festival will play host to events in Coconut Grove. This means that, instead of one, there will now be two new festival events hosted in this freshly flourishing city, famed for its recent boom in restaurant establishments. By taking the very best of the spirits and some of Miami’s favorite chefs to Coconut Grove, SOBEWFF is all set for a weekend bustling with a duo of new events. The newly-introduced Hangar Event Series, brought to you by Capital One, encompasses these two events hosted at the historic Hanger at Regatta Harbour, which was established in 1918. Known for hosting popular events in Miami like the Messi Experience, the hanger will transform into a haven for food connoisseurs during the weekend.
Casa Noble Tequila Presents Sunset Feast With Enrique Santos
The first of the Hangar Series is the Sunset Feast which will be hosted by Enrique Santos, who is the president and chief creative officer of iHeart Latino. This sunset tasting event presented by Casa Noble Tequila will showcase a special menu of cocktails that ideally complement the stunning backdrop of the bayfront and the food prepared by the team of eminent chefs. The feature chefs include Jeremy Ford, Brad Kilgore, Lindsay Autry, Allen Susser, Janine Booth, Jeff McInnis, Cindy Hutson, and many others. As the evening unfolds, so does a vacation-like atmosphere with cocktail sips and bayside views. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, at 3385 Pan American Dr., Miami. Goya Foods’ Heritage Fire: Grand Finale
The Goya Foods’ Heritage Fire: Grand Finale event has been in planning ever since last year. The special highlight of the event are the chefs who had emerged victorious on the Heritage Fire 2023 tour. A climax to the competition, it will make its final stop in Miami for the grand finale. As guests enjoy the night, they can look forward to the competition that brings together an all-star lineup of chefs cooking globally inspired Heritage-breed proteins. Hosting the evening will be Chris Lilly of Big Bob Gibson and Fernando Desa of Goya Foods, and it will feature culinary artisans such as Francisco Baca, Eric Benitez, Spencer Coplan, and others. Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits will complement the live-fire cooking with an array of beverages. The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes on until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, at 3385 Pan American Dr., Miami.
