A fleet of Porsche 911s are currently available for sale in the United Kingdom.
Currently on sale at the RPM Technik dealership (as mentioned by Piston Heads), this collection includes a 2018 911 GT3 Clubsport and a 2018 911 GT3 Touring, as well as a 2019 911 GT3 RS furnished with the Weissach package. The lot also contains a 2016 911 R and two 2018 911 GT3 racing cars (one Cup and one R). In addition, a semi-trailer truck, used for hauling the cars is part of the deal.
As per Piston Heads, this ensemble of vehicles essentially represents all the 991-era GT3 variant barring the early, pre-upgraded 991-variant GT3 and GT3 RS, and some racing versions, which would be too large to fit on the truck as well.
The assembling of this car collection and the transporter truck was carried out by Austrian architect Alexander Serda. He was inspired by his childhood toy – a model of a Porsche transporter truck. His initial plan was to parade this tribute to Porsche’s GT division at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which marked the carmaker’s 70th anniversary. This however didn’t materialize and since then the cars have been stored away.
This fleet includes the main variants of the 991-era GT3. This comprises the winged Clubsport, the wingless Touring, and the track-focused GT3 RS equipped with the Weissach lightweighting kit. An added feature is the limited-edition 911 R, which had only 991 units made. The 911 R was seen as special at its launch, as it combined the GT3 RS’s 4.0-liter flat-6 with a manual transmission and did away with the massive wing and flashy GT3 components. But Porsche has reaffirmed this strategy with the regular production 992-era 911 GT3 Touring and restricted edition S/T.
All cars have reportedly not been used and only have delivery mileage on the counter. Hence, trying to replicate a similar collection might be possible, but finding such a pristine set of cars, and a transporter included, would be challenging. The price for with collection is yet to be disclosed.
